ICT Hub Regional Conference - 50 Free places available for VCOs
January 18th 2007The 7th March is day that all VCOs (Voluntary Community Organisations) should be putting into their diaries.
The event titled 'Communication, Computers and Technology' is a one day conference for VCO's on how to plan, fund and exploit information and communication technology.
Cosmic will be leading numerous events and discussions at the event. Julia Taylor (the South West's very own Accessibly Champion) will be leading an accessibility workshop and discussing the technologies and customisations available which make using a computer easier and which can therefor make a huge improvement to the way people work. Lee Hodges will be running a workshop on the ways to attract, inspire and involve audiences in the work of VCO's and Julie Harris, the Chief Executive of Cosmic will be kicking off the afternoon with a workshop on third-sector priorities for ICT in the South West.
The event is being held at the Taunton Conference Centre, located at the Somerset College of Arts and Technology. ICT hub is offering the first 50 bookings from small VCOs (those with an income of less than £100,000) a free place at the conference.
