An Exciting next step for Cosmic's Modern Apprentice
June 30th 2006Having successfully completed his Level 2 User IT NVQ, Jon leaves Cosmic today ready to begin his exciting career in IT.
Jon started his time with Cosmic on July 12th last year, working with Cosmic's technology manager Rob. Jon has spent his time learning new skills to allow him to aid Rob with technical support and help research new products. Whilst at Cosmic Jon has also completed his ECDL level 2 as well as completing additional units for a level 3 NVQ.
Jon explains 'This is only job that I have had which has lasted for longer than a few weeks, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Cosmic, everyone has been really helpful and I wish that I had more time to carry on my job here to help with future projects. I already had some background in computers but Rob has enhanced this ten fold'.
Jon successfully applied to 'Handle with Care' an Exeter based company which specalise in database design services. Jon will be learning programming skills and his first month will be spent learning how to debug programmes. He will then go on to have full training in PHP and SQL.
Cosmic has thoroughly enjoyed having Jon as part of the team and wishes Jon all the very best in the future.
