Social Audit Panel

Today is Social Audit Panel day at COSMIC and we are looking forward to welcoming Social Auditors Debbie Stewart from CEU, Carl Haggerty from Devon County Council, and Maria Donoghue-Mills previously of Novas-Scarman. The Panel will spend the day going over the socia accounts which have been produced, and conducting some ‘audit trail’ activities to prove that what we’ve said about our findings, consultation exercises and evaluation results are accurate and well articulated.

COSMIC has been producing social accounts since 2002 and has found the work to be a highly effective way to demonstrate our performance, particularly when looking closely at how we perform against our social objectives. The audit also provides an excellent opportunity to receive feedback from highly experienced people and to look at furhter way to improve our business.

The full social accounts once audit will be published on our website ahead of our Annual General Meeting which is being held on 25th March 2010.
