The ICT Hub is a partnership of national voluntary and community organisations. This partnership provides a range of services to help voluntary and community sector organisations benefit from ICT.
AbilityNet helps disabled adults and children use computers and the internet by adapting and adjusting their ICT. In 2005 we supported 490,000 people of all ages. Whatever the disability or problem, everyone can stay in touch and enjoy life more with ICT.

Unfortunately a spinal cord doesn't repair itself, so the majority of spinal cord injury subjects are left permanently paralysed, thus dependent on a wheelchair. Some of you may think that life in a wheelchair is a life not worth living. In fact, it's quite the opposite. Since my accident, I've rediscovered my love for angling. I'm very much involved in amateur radio so that I can contact people, I drive my own car and I live in a bungalow by the sea. Have a look at this website as it will emphasize to you that with the correct use of technology, life needn't stop once you're in a wheelchair!
