We are in search of a highly skilled and results-driven SEO Specialist to become part of our team. In this role, you will lead SEO efforts for Cosmic and our clients, ensuring quantifiable enhancements in organic traffic, search engine rankings, and conversion rates. You will engage with clients to formulate and execute effective SEO strategies, collaborating closely with the Website Coordinator and Business Development Manager to establish a consistent sales pipeline for our SEO services.
Key Responsibilities:
- SEO Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies for Cosmic and our clients, encompassing keyword research, on-page optimisation, off-page optimisation, and technical SEO.
- Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients to grasp their unique SEO requirements, provide recommendations, and implement customized strategies that align with their objectives.
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams, including Web, to coordinate SEO campaigns, and support account management and sales pipeline. To support the SEO Apprentice in learning development and project delivery.
- Website Audits: Conduct website audits to identify SEO opportunities and issues, and offer actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Content Optimisation: Generate content and collaborate with team members and clients to optimize website content, meta titles and descriptions, and other on-page elements to enhance search engine rankings.
- Link Building: Plan and implement off-page SEO strategies, including link building, content promotion, and outreach efforts to establish high-quality backlinks.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO software. Provide regular reports to track progress and pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Algorithm Updates: Stay current with search engine algorithm changes and industry trends, adapting strategies accordingly.
- Account Management: Cultivate ongoing relationships with clients, report on SEO progress, conversion rates, and return on investment.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist with a strong track record of successful SEO campaigns.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, algorithms, and tools.
- Detailed understanding of Conversion Rate Optimisation and engagement techniques.
- Experience in conducting meetings with clients, creating and implemtjing SEO strategies.
- Proficiency in SEO software and analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Google My Business, Google Webmaster Tools, Google Tag Manager, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Is a strong team player and has an agile approach to working.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Google Analytics or Google Ads certification.
- Experience with SEO for e-commerce websites including WooCommerce and Shopify
- Experience with Pay-Per-Click advertising campaigns
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
