6 Questions For New Team Member Silvia Paloschi

26th June 2020

Silvia is one of Cosmic's newest members of staff, so we asked her some questions about herself so you can get to know her a little bit better:

1. What do you do here at Cosmic?

I am a digital trainer, specialising in Digital Marketing Strategies for SMEs and Start-ups.

2. What’s your favourite part about the job, and what are you most excited about doing?

My favourite part of the job involves delivering training sessions, sharing my knowledge and getting to understand business owners’ pain points to then come up with digital marketing solutions that will help them increase their brand awareness and recognition, lead generation and ultimately sales/profitability.

3. What do you like most about Cosmic?

The fabulous team of people that I get to work alongside and with!

4. What is the most interesting thing about you or that you have done?

Last year in May, I became a facilitator for an initiative, run by Google, called #IamRemarkable, aimed at empowering women and other underrepresented groups to celebrate their achievements in the workplace (and beyond), by breaking societal modesty norms and social bias. Ever since then I have delivered several sessions across the South of England and met the most extraordinary people. This has been one of the best experiences I have had as a coach, since each session always leaves me with a deep connection with all attendees and a sense that I managed to do something to make each of them feel more comfortable with who they are and achieve more in their chosen career and personal relationships.

5. Are you Apple or Android?

100% Android

6. What are your hobbies or interests?

I love my yoga but also like taking long walks in nature (whenever I can and have a good navigator with me – I am helpless at reading maps and I am forever grateful for Google Maps or friends that can navigate the Dartmoor whereabouts). I also enjoy reading contemporary, people based, novels and biographies and have not so secret a dream to have enough time to write my own, one day
