EDLP came to Cosmic looking to develp a model used in teh Cairngorms around citizen science and using the public to monitor change in landscapes.

This project is a citizen science/public gathering project which aims to catalogue photographic information from key locations across East Devon to help monitor, track and interpret landscape and habitat change. The photographs that people upload will provide a fascinating record of seasonal change, the effect of light and weather and changes in land use, habitat and management.

We produced a proof of concept and developed a Geolocation based phone app to control a devices camera when close to a post location. the system also has the facility to submit photos when not near a post location.

The project is still in it's early days but is being moved to testing in a controlled group soon.
