The Heart of the South West is the Local Enterprise Partnership for Devon, Plymouth, Somerset and Torbay. Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) are new strategic partnership organisations formed under the leadership of the private sector and supported by the local authorities to create a powerful economic alliance. The Heart of the South West has already attracted more than £25 million of Government funding to kick start the areas' economy, to create new jobs, boost productivity and to improve earnings.

“The Heart of the South West were looking for a new website, that reflected the way that the Public and Private sectors work together in the Local Enterprise Partnership. We wanted a website that was contemporary, clear and allowed flexibility of content – and all of this to a tight deadline, with a strict budget.

“Communication with Cosmic was good at all stages – we had a thorough planning meeting where we were fully involved in providing design and structure ideas.  We were impressed with the development site process, that allowed us to monitor progress whilst the site was being created and we were also impressed with the regular communication from the team.

“The finished product has received good feedback and, as the Local Enterprise Partnership grows and progresses, we now have the capability of adapting our website to reflect our work.
