Martin Davies CBE has a wealth of experience across the social enterprise and third sectors, having served in both executive and non-executive roles. He is the former CEO of Pluss and co-founder of the British Association for Supported Employment, where he established himself as a respected leader in the welfare-to-work sector. Martin was awarded a CBE in the 2026 New Year Honours for services to employment provision for people with disabilities.
He is strongly committed to the role social enterprises can play in delivering high-quality public services. Over the years, he has helped support the successful spin-out of services from local authority control and has worked at senior level across the private, public and third sectors.
