We’re proud to share some exciting news from the Cosmic team — we’ve been named Partner of the Year by Seetec Pluss at their recent Cornwall Jobs Fair and Awards event!
Held in the heart of Cornwall, the celebration brought together employers, participants, and partners for a day filled with inspiration, opportunity, and community spirit. With over 120 attendees and 10 local employers on hand, the event was a fantastic example of what can be achieved through collaboration and shared purpose.
The recognition highlights the work we’ve been doing through our partnership with Seetec Pluss to support people across Cornwall into employment and equip them with the digital skills and confidence they need to thrive in today’s workplace.
A standout moment for us was seeing some of the learners supported by David Johnson, our dedicated Digital Skills Trainer in Cornwall, attend the event and take part in the celebrations.
“It was such an honour to be part of the event and to see our work in Cornwall recognised in this way,” said David. “I’m incredibly proud of the progress our participants are making every day — their resilience, enthusiasm, and determination continue to inspire me. Seeing some of them at the celebration, smiling and confident, really brought home why we do what we do. This award means the world to me — I’ve never been recognised in this way before in 41 years of work!”
From networking and interviews to job offers (and plenty of pasties!), the day was a powerful reminder of the impact that inclusive employment and skills programmes can have.
We’re hugely grateful to Seetec Pluss for this recognition, and for the strong partnership we’ve built together. It’s through collaborations like these that we can ensure no one is left behind.
