Hooe’s Yurts is run by husband and wife team Amy and Max in the heart of the Devon countryside. They are passionate about their yurts and traveling the world to find exotic textiles to decorate them.
Hooe’s Yurts provide beautifully styled yurts for hire to a huge range of events, so they needed to make sure their website was interesting and inviting, as well as easy to update and add more information to. They were looking for a website that would help to sell their unique product, reaching a diverse audience, whilst capturing the fun and vibrant atmosphere of their product.
Cosmic designed an elegant and clear website, which includes large visuals and clear calls to action throughout the site, with a complimenting colour scheme. The use of small animations and large, colourful images make the site very inviting, capturing the fun and luxurious atmosphere of their yurts. With a broad range of products, yurts of all shapes and sizes, a lot of information needed to be clearly structured and displayed. We feel this has been achieved here.
Our developers built the website in the flexible content management system called Drupal. It allows for many different content types, and the site currently boasts the ability to add new basic pages, advanced pages, FAQ pages, furnishings for yurts, photo galleries, testimonials and additional yurts, with the potential for much more in the future if required. This allows Amy and Max to be able manage their own site in the same way that they manage other parts of their business.
