Q: Tell us more about your role at Cosmic?
As the Web Co-ordinator at Cosmic, I turn simple ideas into online presences. My journey with clients starts with understanding their core idea and vision and ends with launching a site that exceeds their expectations. I bridge the gap between the start of your ideas and bringing that into the digital world, ensuring every step is smooth and rewarding.
Q: What do you bring to the team at Cosmic?
I bring patience, empathy, unwavering support, and a wealth of experience in web services. I also bring a dose of silliness and humour, which keeps our work environment lively. Whether I’m tackling complex projects or sharing a laugh, I strive to foster a positive and creative atmosphere.
Q: What do you get up to in your spare time?
When I’m not helping to create amazing websites, I stay active and entertained with a variety of hobbies. I love playing football to varying degrees of success, diving into immersive computer games, exploring the outdoors on walks, tackling DIY projects, and spending time with my cat and tortoises who always bring a smile to my face.
Q: What do you love most about working at Cosmic?
The fulfillment from helping people is what I love most. Whether it’s solving technical challenges, guiding web development, or supporting my colleagues, making a positive impact is incredibly rewarding. Every day is a chance to learn, grow, and make a difference to other people.
Q: Can you share a memorable project you’ve worked on at Cosmic?
One standout project involved a client who was initially mistrustful of tech professionals. Through clear communication, being supportive and exceeding their expectations, we turned their skepticism into trust. By the end, they had a fantastic service and renewed faith in tech professionals. We always strive to make things clearer rather than gate-keep and confuse.
Q: What advice would you give to someone aspiring to work in web development?
My advice: First, have a natural talent and knack for problem-solving. Second, be passionate—live and breathe web development, constantly learn and experiment. Make it your hobby and passion.
