Working to support the impact and success of other local organisations is a key objective for Cosmic’s business and we’ve been able to do that in many ways over the years.

We’ve provided a range of top quality services, including digital but also leadership training, to hundreds of charities, community groups and other social enterprises. Sometimes we’ve been privileged to work in partnership with these organisation on major projects to benefit the local area, and other times we’ve developed a more commercial relationship to fit with their needs and expectations. But always Cosmic has gone the ‘extra mile’ to ensure that our work puts the organisations in positions of success, influence and with highly effective processes.

More recently Cosmic has adopted a new staffing policy which support members of the team to take time out of work to deliver direct support local charities. Julie our CEO is leading the way with this one in her volunteer work with Devon Air Ambulance Trust (DAAT), a cause very close to her heart following a very serious accident a couple of years ago.

Last week she went along to work with a group of their staff to help with their learning on social media, and particularly Facebook. The session provided great opportunities to share updates on the platform and tips on using it effectively for their charity work and events. The DAAT always enjoy Julie’s visits and feedback from this session was as positive as ever –
“Julie is a great trainer, I love how she keeps it simple and doesn’t bombard us with jargon; and she uses her own Facebook page as an example so you can see how to use it live.”
