Title Plymouth Festival of Social Enterprise Trade Fair

This was the flagship event in Plymouth’s Festival of Social Enterprise, the first of its kind in the city. Cosmic were excited to hold a stand at the trade fair where business men and women and others from the university and further afield came to celebrate and network with social enterprises from across Devon.
Cosmic spoke to a variety of people spanning from start-up businesses with aspirations to become social enterprises to successful social enterprises from Plymouth. There was a great atmosphere at the event and many of the businesses made full use of the opportunity to network with other social networks and talk about the similarities in the ways we do business. There was also a lot of interest in the festival from the students and lecturers at the University, especially in our gadget show which always gets people excited about Later on in the day Julie was involved in a Social Enterprise debate and reception where she was excited to present some other business with the Social Enterprise Mark as recognition of their status.
