On Wednesday, the digital apprentices at Cosmic drove to an open day at Yarlington for an opportunity to learn more about what the company does, and how each team member works together. The structure of the event started with a talk and presentation on what each team member does, and their separate sub teams, which specialise on areas, such as Information Planning Manager, Chris Reed; delivering information to clients in an understandable format.
The next phase involved coming up with all things ‘IT and applications’, what things we think they currently have, and will have 10 years from now; things such as artistic purposes, social media i.e. LinkedIn, CRM (Customer Relationship Management system), and a Wireless connection for every device.
“I personally thought that the event was an in-depth experience of just what goes on behind the scenes of housing associations, what the motives of their staff are, and what new technology they feel works best for the job. Their food is bespoke!”
