Whether you have Instagram (which offers a huge array of filters for photos), or not, we’ve got 5 great Apps you can download to edit your photos both on your phone and on your computer browser.

To get any of these apps, simply go to the App store or Google Play store on your smartphone and search their name in the search bar.

1. Photoshop Express - Free to Download

This is the best photo editing software overall. The full app for Photoshop you will need to subscribe to, to access, but its sister product is readily accessible and easy to use. It includes stacking effects, touch-ups, and sketch effect. It can also remove red-eye, resize images, and make colour corrections, working right from your browser or mobile app.

To note: Some features require a creative cloud membership, which has a fee.

2. Instasize – Free to Download

This is one of the best free photo editing apps also, and was designed for social media and influencers who want to create creative photos and videos for their social feeds.

There are a lot of great editing tools including collage maker, photo retouching features, fonts, text editing, and naturally enhancing features. The free version is limited, and includes ads, so if you want the Premium version with more features and without ads, the cost is $4.99 a month.
