April 14th 2005The team wait with baited breath as the final plan for the Devon ChangeUp project are put together - including the plan for a new IT tech support unit (DeVICE) headed by COSMIC. After months of careful planning and consideration the full Devon Consortium are nearing full agreement on spending totalling over £500k which is aimed at improving the capacity of voluntary and community organisations.
IT is just one of 12 separate projects which will work across the County in the period from April 2005 - March 2006. Subject to election results and political backing there is hope of further ChangeUp funding to develop projects further beyond 2006 - watch this space!
