Colin didn’t own a computer, so he came into the centre regularly to practise. He used Cosmic’s laptops, played typing games, and slowly began building his skills and confidence.

As Colin grew more confident, he started learning tools he never thought he’d use, like ChatGPT and Microsoft CoPilot, to help write cover letters and edit his CV. He worked with his Advisor, Liam, to print and organise documents, set up a simple filing system, and use tech to stay on track with job applications.

It wasn’t always easy, but Colin stayed curious and positive. Even as an older learner, he proved that it’s never too late to pick up new skills.
